They share why they want to continue to bring great rock bands to Richmond, how the group writes songs and how they battled stage anxiety early in their careers.

Mel Machete Pop-Up Liner Notes (Season 2, Episode 10)

2.10.1) Earlier this year, Eliturite performed with a band for his Shockoe Sessions Live! performance promoting his new album, after wake.

2.10.2) Guns N Roses, Mötley Crüe, Dio, & Krokus were all successful rock and metal bands from the 1980's.

2.10.3) The Donnas are an all-female rock band from Palo Alto, CA. They were most known for their 2002 single "Take It Off."

2.10.4) A mixtape is a compilation of music, typically from multiple sources, recorded onto a medium. With origins in the 1980s, the term normally describes a homemade compilation of music onto a cassette tape, CD, or digital playlist.

2.10.5) Tower Records: From 1960 until 2006, Tower operated music retail stores in the United States, which closed when Tower Records filed for bankruptcy and liquidation. However, on November 13, 2020, Tower Records announced that it had returned as an online retailer with plans to open future physical locations.

2.10.6) Sonic Dorms' host, Max Davallo, invites music artists & fanatics from all walks of life to discuss their passion for the past, present, and future of music.

2.10.10) The 8-track tape is a magnetic-tape sound recording technology that was popular from the mid-1960s to the early 1980s, when the compact cassette, which pre-dated the 8-track system, surpassed it in popularity for pre-recorded music.

2.10.11) Juliana Viana is the lead singer from the RVA/Charlottesville hardcore punk band, Haircut.

2.10.12) Valentina Lopez is the lead singer for Richmond, VA hardcore punk band, Nosebleed.
