HearRVA was there to shoot video of this amazing outdoor concert series to share with you. First, The Charles Owens Trio got the crowd grooving with playful saxophone riffs as they celebrated 10-years together before Richmond’s own Jazz/Funk/Soul band, Butcher Brown, finished the evening with the funky grooves they are well known for. Before they left, they invited singer Sam Reed up on stage to sing “Jamaica Funk” together. What a night. We hope you enjoy the recap. Go see it live next time.
