HearRVA was fortunate enough to attend “From Where??? Virginia Hip-Hop Past and Present” presented by the University of Richmond at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (3/28/22)
It was led by U of R professor Erik Nielson and featured panelists Skillz, Michael Millions Deandra Clarke and Marc Cheatham.
They talked about the influences and artists that helped create the sound of Virginia Hip-Hop and where it could go in the future. Here is a peak into this insightful conversation about our history.
